I'm a former teacher who followed my love of creating into the photography industry.
I'm Jacqueline, but my friends call me Jackie. Seriously though, the only person who calls me Jacqueline is my mother and only when I'm being scolded. I've always been passionate about building relationships. It's what drew me to teaching and kept me in education for almost a decade. When my son was born, I felt stuck in my career and ready for a change - enter photography! It was the creative outlet I needed, but also let me continue building relationships and doing meaningful work. I'm honored to be part of your celebrations, big and small, and to capture the joy and love you feel for the special people in your life.

Jackie is so talented in so many ways!
1. Obviously she is an amazing photographer. Our photos have consistently turned out amazing - We have received so many compliments from friends & family. Even in a mini session, every single photo she delivers is a beautiful shot. You'll wonder HOW she made you/your family look SO good!
2. Her editing is timeless, beautiful & efficient. You can tell Jackie puts so much love and effort into perfectly editing every photo and yet, she doesn't take months and months to get your pictures back to you.
3. She will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera! Jackie is so warm and inviting during her sessions. You can be yourself and feel totally at home in front of the camera (even if it's not your favorite place to be). When it comes to including kids in pictures, she is a natural! Our family actually has fun during photo shoots and that is evident in the photos you will receive.

Choosing Jackie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. Three things in particular stood out.
Flexible: Jackie was extremely flexible whether it was location to take photos, order of taking photos, changing timelines, etc.
Easy to work with: Jackie was so easy to work with regardless of your comfort level being in front of the camera. She made people who typically hate being in front of the camera enjoy taking photos, which can be extremely helpful depending on your bridal party! Also she was great at catching the shots you wanted but she was never in the way or felt like she was hovering.
Talent: I cannot express how much we love our wedding photos. Jackie did such an amazing job with the photos - the coloring and lighting is amazing. The hardest part is going to be not printing out every photo to hang in our home.

Jackie shot both our engagement and wedding and I could not be happier with the results. I was a pretty Type A DIY bride, and Jackie listened to me and helped with so many random wedding-related questions I had. She was down for all of my ideas and went above and beyond what so many photographers would do for our engagement photos (including several locations and using her dog mom voice to give our fur child an excess of bribery treats.) She made us both, including my very photo-adverse husband, feel so comfortable and happy during all photos. Highly recommend her as a photographer and human!
